Our Warranties

At TECH Menuiserie, we stand behind the quality of our products. Every piece of joinery comes with comprehensive warranty coverage for your complete peace of mind.

Legal Warranty of Conformity

In accordance with Articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you benefit from a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the date of delivery.

This warranty entitles you to repair or replacement of the product if it has a defect of conformity. You do not need to prove the existence of the defect during the first 24 months.

Hidden Defects Warranty

In accordance with Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, you also benefit from the hidden defects warranty. If a hidden defect renders the product unfit for its intended use, you may request cancellation of the sale or a price reduction.

Manufacturer Warranty

PVC and Aluminium Profiles - 10 years

The warranty covers:

• Manufacturing defects affecting the profile structure
• Abnormal discolouration (yellowing, staining)
• Profile deformation under normal conditions of use
• Sealing defects related to the profile

Insulating Glazing - 5 years

The warranty covers:

• Failure of the insulating glazing peripheral seal
• Appearance of misting or condensation between panes
• Glazing manufacturing defects (inclusions, factory scratches)

Hardware and Mechanisms - 2 years

The warranty covers:

• Failures of opening and closing mechanisms
• Defects in handles and locks
• Issues with seals and gaskets

Installation Warranty

If you opt for installation by one of our RGE-certified installers, you benefit from a 2-year installation warranty covering:

• Air and water tightness of the installation
• Interior and exterior finishing
• Proper functioning of opening elements after fitting

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear of components (seals, gaskets)
• Damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or non-conforming use
• Modifications or repairs carried out by unauthorised persons
• Damage caused by external events (storm, hail, vandalism)
• Defects resulting from installation not carried out by our partner installers
• Minor aesthetic variations inherent to natural materials

How to Make a Claim

For any warranty claim, contact our after-sales service through one of the following channels:

Information Required

• Your order number
• A detailed description of the issue
• Clear photographs of the defect
• The date the problem was first noticed

Our after-sales team will respond within 48 hours and arrange, if necessary, an on-site visit or replacement of the affected product.

Spare Parts

We maintain a stock of spare parts for all our product ranges for 10 years after the last sale of the model in question. This includes:

• Seals and weatherstripping
• Handles and locks
• Opening mechanisms (espagnolettes, friction stays)
• Replacement glazing
• Glazing beads and finishing accessories
